Our parking spaces in front of the house are exclusively for our hotel guests and are available to you free of charge. We calculate one parking lot per room. If you need more than one parking lot per room (e.g. for a car trailer), please understand that we charge € 15 per night for each additional spot. Additional parking spots are subject to availability.
You can rent a garage space for € 15 per night, subject to availability. Your room card opens the garage door only after we have activated it.
Parking in the municipality: The parking spaces marked in white in the municipality of Appiano are free of charge (e.g. in Via dell’Oro). The parking spaces marked in blue are subject to a fee, whereby the first half hour is free of charge. However, you still have to print a parking ticket: if you want to park for less than half an hour, simply press the green button at the parking machines.
We have charging stations for your electric car in our garage (garage parking space for an additional charge – subject to availability).
You can activate charging with your room card. The kilowatts charged will be added directly to your room receipt.

We are a non-smoking hotel. All rooms, indoor areas and the panoramic terrace of the breakfast and dining room are non-smoking areas.
Smoking is permitted on the lounge terrace, on your balcony, on the lawn and outdoors around the swimming pool.
If you smoke in your room, you will affect the comfort of subsequent guests. We therefore charge a service fee of € 40 if we discover that you have been smoking in your room.
The reception is available from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The rooms are available on the day of arrival from 2:00 p.m. On the day of departure, we ask you to leave the room before 11:00 a.m.
In case of late check-out, a service fee of € 50 will be charged.
Please do not forget to hand in the room cards at the reception on departure.
In summer, the system is set to cooling; in winter it is set to heating. Both cannot be used at the same time.
If your room has a wall heater, it is controlled directly on the unit.
You can see the desired room temperature on the display: use the up ↑ / down ↓ arrows on the right (marked red in the picture) to set your desired room temperature. Use the left arrows (marked yellow in the picture) to control the fan speed or turn it off.
0: fan is off and stays off until you turn it on again.
Auto: fan turns on by itself if the room is too warm or too cold. It slows down or stops when the temperature is reached.
1 / 2 / 3: manual fan speed – the higher the number, the stronger the airflow.
Important: pressing the middle button on the display does not turn off the heating or cooling – it only turns off the screen. If you press it, your settings will be lost and the system will go back to central control.
Bathroom heating
The bathroom radiator is not controlled by the display. Please adjust it directly on the radiator by turning the knob.
If there is a display in the bathroom, it controls the underfloor heating.
The spring water in your fridge is free of charge.
For a late check-out, please contact the reception on the day of departure or the day before. Subject to room availability, we will inform you about the different options and the applicable fees.

Would you like breakfast in your room?
Please fill out the breakfast menu available at the reception and hand it in by 9 p.m. the previous evening. For a service charge of € 8 per person and ordered breakfast we are happy to serve it to you.
Your room card also opens the main entrance at night – please remember to take it with you.
Please do not forget to hand in your room cards at the reception on departure.
If a room card is lost or broken during your stay, we will charge € 2 as compensation.
From the beginning of March to the end of October we have e-mountain bikes in the house, which you can rent at the reception for € 36 per day. You can find the reservation calendar at the reception.
Normal bikes and e-bikes can also be hired from the professional bike shop “Sanvit” (Strada Sill 70/A, 39057 Appiano, +39 0471 660775). Other e-bike models can be rented from “e-bike Rent” at Via delle Cantine 9, 39052 Caldaro (+39 333 963 5729).
You can park your bikes in our bike room free of charge. Only guests with access authorisation (available at reception) can access the video-monitored bike room. Power sockets and lockers for storing your shoes, helmets, gloves, tools etc. are available.

We are happy to lend you hiking maps, backpacks or hiking poles free of charge. Simply contact the reception.

The South Tyrolean Mobilcard is included with your room booking. It gives you unlimited use of all public transport throughout South Tyrol during your stay.

The easiest way to visit Bolzano is by bus. The closest bus stop “San Michele (Appiano), Centro” is about 300 m away.

Breakfast is served every day at the restaurant and, if possible, on the terrace.

In the evening, we ask for an appropriate style of clothing in the restaurant.

Are you leaving before 7:00 a.m. and cannot enjoy breakfast at our hotel? We will be happy to put together an extensive packed breakfast for you instead – breakfast is the most important meal of the day, especially when travelling. Please let us know at reception by 6 p.m. the day before.
To ensure that you are well provided for on your excursions, we are happy to put together a packed lunch of your choice (for a small extra charge) – please let us know by 6 p.m. the day before.
Experience an unforgettable picnic in nature with our specially equipped picnic rucksack, which contains everything you need for a delicious picnic.
We will be happy to put together a picnic backpack for a special day out if you let us know by 9 p.m. the day before. Information about prices and availability is available at the reception.
We would be happy to organise your personal flower wishes. Our recommended flower shops are “Ars Florensis” in Via Josef Innerhofer and the “Johanna Gamberoni Blumenecke” at the beginning of Via Cappuccini (both near the town hall square).
At the reception we have chargers for the most common mobile phones.
Toothbrush, shaver, toothpaste, earplugs and chargers for the most common mobile phone models are available at the reception. Also dog waste bags.
In the lobby you will find books free of charge for the duration of your stay. You are welcome to borrow a book. When you have finished reading it, please put it back on the shelf.
Daily newspapers and magazines are available in the lobby.

At the reception, our house guests can obtain a 5 % voucher for the San Paolo winery.
You can also purchase some wines in our house – simply pre-order them at the reception one day in advance so that we can prepare them for you.
For a fee of € 5 per wash we offer a laundry service (for sportswear only). Please contact the reception.
Bathrobes and towels in the rooms are available free of charge during your stay. We ask you to use the towels only on the hotel grounds, not for swimming at Lake Monticolo, for example.
If you leave your towel on the floor, we will replace it. If you think you can use it again, please leave it on the towel rack.
The bathrobes in the room are standard sizes. On request we also have smaller or larger bathrobes available – please contact the reception.
The bathrobes are changed after one week’s stay. If you wish to have additional changes, a service fee of € 5 will be charged.
To ensure that you can fully enjoy your stay in our wellness area, we kindly ask you to bring your personal bath slippers from home.
With this small measure, we would like to contribute together to protecting the environment and reducing the use of disposable products.
If you do not have your own bath slippers with you, we will of course be happy to provide them at the reception. Thank you very much for your understanding.
Massages can be booked at the reception. Our massage programme can be found at the reception desk.
For booked massage treatments which are not cancelled within 24 hours in advance, 90 % of the treatment price is charged.
The indoor area in front of the saunas is a quiet area. Please behave quietly to ensure the comfort and relaxation of other guests.
Smoking is prohibited in the indoor areas as required by law. E-cigarettes are also prohibited indoors.
For safety reasons, the use of glass or porcelain is prohibited in all indoor and outdoor areas.
It is not permitted to reserve sunbeds.
The outdoor area and the area in front of the pool are not nude areas – please wear clothes in the outdoor areas, as well as around and in the pool.
The sauna is open from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
South Tyrol lies at the interface of Italian and German culture, which have different clothing habits in the sauna. We leave it up to you whether you prefer to enter the sauna dressed or undressed. Please understand both perspectives.
Children under the age of 16 are not allowed (by Italian law) in the sauna and relaxation area. When accompanied by parents, the responsibility lies with the parents.
Our swimming pool is open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Use of the swimming pool at your own risk. Children in the swimming pool area only under adult supervision.
You can bring your dog with you. We charge € 20 per dog and night.
We cannot allow your four-legged friend access to the wellness, swimming pool and sunbathing areas, breakfast room and dining room (inside and outside).
Please note that the dog must always be kept on a leash in the hotel and on the hotel grounds. Even if your dog is harmless, you never know how other animals or people will react.
Our cleaning fairies are not able to clean the room while your dog is in the room.
We have dog waste bags at the reception for your friend.
The nearest pharmacy is the “Sankt Anna Apotheke” (Via Stazione 17, 39057 Appiano). It is easily accessible on foot and lies about 50 m below the town hall, opposite the “Despar” supermarket.
By car, you can also easily reach the “Apotheke St. Michael” at Via Stazione 99, 39057. Parking directly in front of the door.
The international emergency number 112 applies in South Tyrol.
You can reach the reception from your room phone around the clock by dialling “9”.
The hotel bill can be paid in cash (only Euro, according to Italian law up to max. € 4,999.99) or by bank transfer in advance. We offer our guests a 2 % discount for cash payments on the amount paid in cash on site (excluding local tourist tax); minimum required amount € 100.00. Not valid with mixed payment methods, only with full cash payment.
You can also pay by debit card or credit card (Visa and MasterCard).
The balance must be paid on departure at the latest. Please clarify any company data or special information before we issue the invoice (reception open 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.).
According to state law no. 9/2012, we are obliged to charge a local tax of € 3.50 per person and night for all guests aged 14 and over. This fee may not be included in our prices (it must be listed separately) and can only be paid on site.
